This collection is a compendium of newspapers published in various cities and towns in the state of Georgia from 1881 until 2009. Carter graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1946 and served as the Governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975. In 2002 we has awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for "his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts".
