Geoff Rasmussen, Founder of Legacy Family Tree Webinars

The first live webinar occurred on September 15, 2010. Its topic was “Mapping Software for Genealogists”. Founder Geoff Rasmussen initially planned to hold one or two webinars a month and “see how it goes”; the business grew and expanded steadily as hundreds of speaking proposals came pouring in from top genealogists around the world. Legacy Family Tree Webinars is seen as a pioneer in online genealogy education.
