Preslav is a village in Berdyansk Raion, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, Ukraine.

In the vicinity of the village, 4 settlements were discovered, as well as mounds with burials from the Bronze Age. (III-I millennium BC) and settlements of Scythian times (IV-III centuries BC).

Until the 1860s on the territory of the village Nogai Tatars. Here was the village of Shekly-2. After the defeat of the Russian Empire in the Crimean War, oppression of the Muslim population began and the Nogai Tatars left the area, moving to the territory of the Ottoman Empire.

In 1861 Bulgarians from the Bessarabian colony of Tashbunar moved here. They named the village after the first capital of the Bulgarian kingdom, Preslav.

In 1875, a school was opened in the village to train teachers.
