Many times they contain additional parental details including places of birth, ages, number of children and religious affiliation for baptism and christening records.

Death certificates represent one of the key primary sources for family information, typically being issued within days of a death and having many details about a persons' life. Frequently, they contain age, birthplace, parents' names and birthplaces and the cause of death.

  • California Births 1905 - 1995 - Records between 1905 and 1995 include child's name, gender, date of birth, mother's maiden name and county of birth.
  • Connecticut Death Index, 1949-2012 - Information contained in this collection includes: name of deceased, death date and place, age at time of death, and death state file number. Some records may also include birth date, spouse's name, and residence information.
  • Texas Births, 1926 - 1995 - Records include child's name, gender, date of birth, father's name, mother's name and county of birth.
  • Ohio Births - This collection contains birth records from the state of Ohio, United States from the year 1908 onwards. Records typically include the name of the child and date and place of birth.
  • Kentucky Births, 1911 - 1999 - include child's name, gender, date of birth, mother's maiden name, county of birth and birth certificate number.

The divorce records are a compilation of the Reports of Divorce Decrees or Annulment to Marriage by the district clerk's office in the county where the court decree was filed. A divorce record may include husband and wife names, ages, number of children, date of marriage, date of divorce, and the county where the divorce occurred. Reports of divorces and annulments only were reported to the Bureau of Vital Statistics starting in 1968. Before that time, the county clerk may have recorded the event.

  • Texas Marriages and Divorces- This collection contains marriage license application from various counties in the state of Texas, United States between the years 1966 onwards. In addition this collection also includes divorce records from 1968 onwards. The records were prepared by the Texas Vital Statistics Unit of the Department of State Health Services.
  • Nevada, Clark County Marriages - This collection contains marriage records from Clark County, Nevada, United States, from the year 1900 onwards. Records typically include the names of the groom and the bride, and the date of marriage.
