Arizona Certificate of Foreign Birth
Arizona Certificate of Foreign Birth

Arizona's birth records have been officially recorded since July 1909. Earlier records may be found at the county level, often maintained by local health departments or historical societies. Many older birth records were recorded in family Bibles, church registries, or hospital logs.

The Arizona Department of Health Services maintains birth certificates, and access is restricted for 75 years to protect privacy. After this period, they become public records and are accessible for genealogical research.
